通算三度目1977年 slowhand Japn Tour 77の9月30日名古屋公会堂での来日公演をSB収録したコレクターズCDとなります。
1977年の日本公演は、極端に音源が少なくAudience収録がほとんどですが、今回の音源は、関係者収録の卓直収録では、無いかと
思われます。演奏自体は、クリアーにライン収録されていますが、観客の歓声が極端に小さく収録されています。
ですが演奏そのものは、slowhand claptonそのものでハイテンションなギターがたっぷりと堪能できます。
曲間も編集なしに収録されていて弦を指が滑る音なども収録され、歓声が小さくてもライブの迫力が伝わり、思わず
聞き入ってしまいます。「I Shot the Sheriff」「Badge」でのギターソロは、素晴らしく、迫力満点です。リマスター処理によって
各リズムセクションもバランス良く収録されています。
